Next Tex

Next Tex is an ongoing independent exhibition series conceived by Sourcebook for the Keyhouse Innovations space of Munich Fabric Start. A hand-picked selection of exhibitors present their groundbreaking products, prototypes and services under selected themes.

Sourcebook and Munich Fabric Start will team up again to present the fourth edition of the Next Tex exhibition at Munich Fabric Start from 30th January until 1st February 2018. The group show consists of a hand-picked selection of innovators from across the textile industry exhibited across 150 sqm of floor space, featuring established companies through to startups and R&D projects. Our experienced team will be on hand to talk to visitors, organize guided tours and press conferences, simultaneously forming relationships with potential business partners that the exhibitors could be matched with.

The themes for this edition of Next Tex are: E-Textiles, Biotech and Advanced Manufacturing. What will production look like in the future? How can new materials foster innovation in product design, labelling and manufacturing? These are some of the questions we wish to address in the showcase by bringing cutting-edge companies, service providers and designers together, exploring the themes via thematic reports, interactive presentations and workshops.

Accompanied by a program of lectures, live presentations and panel discussions on the main stage of the Keyhouse Hall, all exhibitors will benefit from extensive high-quality text, image and video coverage by Munich Fabric Start, the international press, as well as our own in-house communications team.
