SmartX IoT Hackathon Berlin 29th & 30th October 2019

On behalf of the SmartX Accelerator Programme we invite all Smart Textiles SMEs and start-ups to join our IoT Hackathon on Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th of October 2019 in Berlin.

SmartX is the European Smart Textiles Accelerator to fund up to 40 smart textile innovators over the next 3 years. Innovation projects supported through the SmartX Accelerator Programme will focus on filling the industrial manufacturing gap that currently exists between an abundance of promising design prototypes and a growing end market interest in smart textiles and wearables.

The IoT Hackathon and Coaching Sessions aim to raise the Smart Textiles market innovation potential amongst SMEs and Startups in Europe.

During the events ideation sessions you will be supported by experienced coaches and lab partners to develop project plans for your funding phase. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to team up with soft- and hardware engineers, business developers and designers to stretch your initial solutions with technology, business and collaboration competences.

All participants can meet future partners to kickstart R&D projects, to scale up their concepts and to gain application readiness for the upcoming SmartX calls starting in November 2019.

For further information you will find a more detailed invitation including event venues, lab partners as well as the event schedule and registration form: Please be aware that no registrations received after the 24th of September can be considered.
