Recap Smart Materials Show #2 at Munich Fabric Start
A community exhibition that explored innovation in fashion tech and smart textiles.
After a great kick-off in 2016, Munich Fabric Start , the first of Europe's leading fabric trade fairs will be invited back to curate a community exhibition in collaboration with innovators and champions at the interface of textile and technology. Two days of inspiring conversations with international visitors and textile experts and busy lectures in the inspiring innovation hub KEYHOUSE. We are simply amazed by our co-exhibitors:
Strick Zella is a knitting company based in Thuringia / Germany with broad experience and expertise under one roof. Besides design, product development and production of high-quality knitwear they produce fashion textiles using innovative yarns ( smools ) and electrical textiles for wireless control systems ( Knitti-fi ). Strick Zella offers solutions to partners in the area of fashion, home textiles and electromotive systems.
ITA Textile Technologies Institute by RWTH Aachen Universityis one of the leading German institutes for the development of technical solutions along the textile production chain: from material development to digital business models. They also work in various fields such as mechanical engineering, textile processing, polymer technology, high performance fiber materials, textile preforming, composites, medical technology, smart textiles and meterology. Life Sciences and Healthcare, Construction and Housing, Lightweight Design and Mobility as well as the Energy Sector, The ITA develops textile semi-finished products and products for various applications. Moreover, countless additional industries are served with goal-oriented innovations for new processes and textile materials.
